Originally I just said "yes" as you would, but whenever I tried to open a drawing directly without opening Autocad first, I got a message saying, "There was a problem sending the command to the program.", while also having AutoCAD open the file anyway. Do you want DWG files to open with AutoCAD LT by default?" There is also a default ticked tickbox saying, "Do not show me this again." However, on the first run of AutoCAD (as Administrator or not) I get a message box saying: "AutoCAD LT is no longer the default application associated with the DWG file type. The install runs as expected with no problems. I am installing from a company deployment image which works 100%. I am just in the process of transferring applications, etc from my previous laptop (windows xp pro), and I have run into an annoying problem with autocad lt 2007.

I have a new laptop with windows 7 pro installed (from new).
